We the people of North Carolina murder over 30,000 preborn babies every year by means of state-sanctioned abortion. For the sake of perspective, the number two cause of death in North Carolina is cancer at about 19,500, followed by heart disease at about 18,200 people. Let that sink in…the number one cause of death in our state is murder. Despite this great evil flourishing for the last 50 years, our pro-life organizations, lobbyists, and politicians, rather than treating abortion as murder and seeking to criminalize it, have instead sought to regulate it as healthcare with an endless stream of incremental compromises and sacrifices. They obeyed nine men in black robes rather than obeying God’s righteous decree of “You shall not murder.” And now, even in a post-Roe era, we are still codifying who may be murdered and who may do the murdering into our laws. We the people in our sinful apathy and naivete have applauded, funded and supported these wicked tactics for 50 long years. A growing number of us are repenting and are calling the State of North Carolina to repent with us.
In the same way as it would be absurd to seek to regulate how, when and where we murder toddlers (or any other age group), the governing authorities of our state possess the moral, legal, and constitutional duty to establish justice in the protection of life for ALL human beings within their jurisdiction, whether in the womb or outside of it, no matter what their stage of development. To allow for the legalized murder of the weakest and most helpless members of our society at any stage of development is a morally reprehensible evil and a gross failure of civil and moral duty!
Furthermore, contrary to widespread misinformation, the right to murder humans is not protected by the Constitution and our state legislature is not bound by any law or duty to aid or abet any Supreme Court’s opinion in their attempted perversion of it. To the contrary, they are duty-bound by their oaths to support, obey, and defend the United States Constitution and oppose such perversions and abuses of it.
We the people demand that our legislators stop passing laws that regulate and prolong the abortion holocaust in North Carolina!
